ReplyDeleteActually, this film seemed to me quite well filmed for its time (the 18th year after all!). Good drama scripted by Mayakovsky and with him the same himself in the lead role. Motion picture authentically reflects the situation at that time in Russia.
Despite the fact that the movie is completely silent (except for the background soundtrack), the story is clear. Very beads. Similarly boasts not every movie.
It must be noted incredible game Mayakovsky. Bully character in his performance looks unusually lively. His expression, faces, poses - all this creates the impression of monumentality and groznosti this nature. Even pokurivanie cigarette looks very sensual. Awesome.

In addition, smartly played by Mayakovsky - a talented person is talented in everything. It is felt that the image of Bully him very suitable. He almost autobiographical: in life Mayakovsky, impregnable, formidable and independent, too, had a weak spot - the heart.
