A week ago I decided to fix it and watched the film of Peter Chardynin "Shut up sadness ... shut up" was filmed in 1918 in honor of the 10th anniversary of the Russian cinema.
To be honest - did not expect that the film will make the post-revolutionary Russia at me any impression. The main objective of this work could guess from the first minute - to show the new Soviet society all the dirt in which the bourgeoisie floundering. As the saying goes - "All bought and sold everything."

I heard about Vera Holodnaya that she is a brilliant actress of silent movies. I never understood the silent movie. Horrible job makeup and old film ... But I watched this movie ... he turned all my idea of silent films. Play the movie is not as easy as it might seem at first glance.
