The film is set in 1901 in southern Africa. Boers, settlers from Europe, defend the independence they created free republics. In their ranks are fighting volunteers from around the world. One of them - the Russian navy officer Paul - arrives in Durban, and receives from the connected Anna secret mission - to buy weapons he has to find the hidden treasures of the Portuguese pirates. Movie review

One of the last works of the domestic adventure cinema Sergei Tarasov.


The action takes place during the Anglo-Boer War, and tied to the Treasure of Portuguese pirates. Movie has a lot of action, and traced a clear influence of foreign westerns. Some scenes are clearly refer to the famous film of the genre.

The main characters and the romantic line between several palely. But very successful colorful images of bandits, especially the ringleader, played by Alexander Inshakov. There is a picture and beautiful songs of composer Igor Kantyukova performed by Larissa Kandalova. All in all, a decent adventure in the spirit of westerns.
