Russian film studio film is based on the events of ancient Russia in the period of early Christianity, and the audience should understand that the actions took place somewhere in the territory of modern Russia. However, the exact answer about this film does not. It is known that the East Slavic tribes lived in the pre-Christian period in Belarus, Ukraine and some western tip of modern Russia. It was there that the Gentiles Perun - the main deity. It is there called Slavic names and people had Slavic appearance. And in Russia lived Murom, moksha, Chud and other Finno-Ugric tribes. This Russian film is in many ways unique.
